Hello again everyone,
Thanks to the advice I received from many of you, I ordered as set of Metzeler 880 Marathons for the Savage.
The problem, however, is they (Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse) did not have a tube for the rear. I've checked all my catalogs (Kirk, Whitney, etc.) and cannot find a tube to specifically fit a 140/80 15" tire. I called Dennis Kirk and they have an IRC tube for a 140/90 15" which the tech guy said would fit. Is that so? Is brand important? Can I re-use the old ones? My mechanic says that's not a good idea. Should I (must I) use rim strips?
As you can tell, I'm a bit confused here. HELP!
